Today is Wisdom Wednesday!
Has anyone ever wondered what really is the difference between a button-up shirt, and a button-down shirt? Well guess what?! I figured it out. Upon doing some research on the subject, of course. And I got my answer from www.mensfitclub.com.

So a button-up shirt is pretty much any shirt that has buttons lining the front of the shirt. But a button-down is a type of button up. A button-down, though, has a button on each side of the collar pinning it down to the shirt.
Therefore, "A button-down is a button-up, but a button-up is not always a button-down."

There is something to be said for the simplicity of this shirt. The clean cut design, is a style that will never fade. Wether you are going to school, a meeting, or out with friends-you can never go wrong with a button-down, or up, or whatever! Anyways, one simple white one can really become, and should be one of your wardrobe staples.
